about the show
Award winning Garry Starr is writing a play for all ages but he’s struggling to concentrate.
Thoughts keep swinging through his head like monkeys in the jungle.
They pop in, swing past, drive through & start monkey parties – making it impossible for him to concentrate.
Garry does love his monkeys. But sometimes, they just get a bit much.

Monkeys Everywhere is a show for all ages – but especially for those who can’t always keep their monkeys under control.
Full of clowning, silliness, and a lot of laughter, Monkeys Everywhere is a show with real heart.
It would be bananas to miss it…

an hour of fun that never stops giving
You know you’ve struck gold when the grown-ups at a children’s show are laughing as hard (sometimes harder) than their young charges.
Such is the sensitivity, wit and charm of this show, the mental health message will land with some, fly over the heads of others. Which is absolutely fine, because either way you’ll have a great time.

a tremendously enjoyable show
Physical comedy, surreal invention and general silliness combine in a tremendously enjoyable show […] The audience shriek their approval.

Riotous, clever, sensitive, hilarious
Starr is a master of his art. My children, and the vast ranks behind me, were howling and hooting. Adults were too.
This show is what children’s shows should be about. Showing them the utter joy of theatre. Taking them away from the day-to-day. Making them bellylaugh but also making them feel and think about big things.
Go for the monkeys. Stay for the bananas. Get your coats on and see this.
Get Your Coats On
Masterfully combines chaotic fun with a thoughtful look at mental health.
Starr is a master at physical comedy, and each sequence is greeted with cheers and eruptions of laughter through his constant playfulness. “Monkeys Everywhere” is a blend of laughter and insight, deftly addressing the importance of understanding our mental landscape. Starr’s ability to transform complex themes into a light-hearted, family-friendly experience is nothing short of genius. This performance is an unmissable treat that leaves audiences with smiles and a new perspective on their ‘monkeys.’ You’d be bananas to miss it!
